In hopes of catching the last glimpse of today’s sunlight I sewed a button on these hippie inspired pants real quick. Not only was it a mediocre job due to the speed in which I tried to accomplish the task, but that I haven’t sewed a stitch in nearly 4 years (hey, at least they stay up now!). I did quite a fair share of sewing in high school, including altering and reconstructing my own prom dress. College has kept me pretty occupied but now that I am almost a graduate it would be fun to get back to designing some garments.

I went out today around 5:00 and took photos of this new outfit that I bought in the past two weeks. The pants are from Forever 21, the lace shirt from Revival, and my favorite bootie heels also from Revival. The LEATHER backpack is from the bazaar in Madrid I bought over the summer. I know the consistency of my vegetarian ethics are a little questionable due to this purchase, my apologies to Peta on this one, but it was so beautiful I couldn’t resist. I’m on spring break this week so I’ve had more time to blog. I decided to brave the cold jacket-less for you lovely readers so you could get the full affect of the outfit. In retrospect it may not have been my smartest decision but I think the photos were worth it. What do you think?
