We hope you love these Polaroid type images as much as we do.
Deena Danielle’s love for photography began at a young age. She started learning about film photography in her teens, using a 35 mm camera, and then a Holga. She took summer courses and elected photography when given the choice in school. She spent a lot of time developing negatives in the dark room, finding solace there. It was a quiet and magical space. To see images manifest in front of her eyes felt other worldly.
Exploration of photography in her early years led her to graduate with a BFA in the discipline. Film is still a strong passion of hers, so for most style looks she shares, she likes to take one photograph on an Instax camera (similar to the original Polaroid that prints instantly).
The beauty of film is that you never really know what you’re going to get. Each photograph captures a moment in time, albeit over or underexposed. Each image is unique, imperfect, unedited, real, and raw. The polaroid images provide a more subdued perspective into the world of fashion.
