Apologies for the month long hiatus during the holidays. I took an almost three week trip to travel around Europe. So, I’ve been working behind the scenes editing photos and sharing stories about travels in preparation to publicly share here. I left Madrid on December 19th and traveled to Brussels, Belgium with a friend. We tasted some beer at Delirium Cafe (the best I’ve had in my entire life) in Brussels that night.

The following day we took a day trip to Bruges, a quaint town outside of Brussels that’s about an hour by train and known for it’s canals. It started with coffee and small muffins, and ended with the most delicious waffles smothered in strawberries and chocolate syrup from the seasonal Christmas markets. We stopped to admire the pastel soaps, hand-made in France, that smelled of coconut and lavender. That night we happened to be in the right place at the right time as the whole square lit up with changing lights and played music over loudspeakers. The whole weekend was magical, like living in a fairy tale. We then went off to Poland which was a very different experience. Hungary was next. More photos and anecdotes to come…
